What I Do

As an OC Technical Diver, I mainly explore the demanding waters around Koh Samaesan–Pattaya, and I also actively advocate for this area as one of  top tec diving destinations in Thailand.

 

I have experience with both Technical Sidemount and Twinset configurations. Although I am a trimix diver, I have a preference for extended range diving and enjoy the challenge of effective narcosis management. I’m also an enthusiastic self-reliant diver, having completed solo dives along much of the Cypriot coastline during my tenure at Cyprus Diving Adventures.

 

As a Chartered Environmentalist, I am deeply committed to promoting marine conservation and sustainable diving practices. I actively advocate for and participate in initiatives such as PADI AWARE, Green Fins, and Dive Against Debris. Through these programmes, I support efforts to protect underwater ecosystems, encourage environmentally responsible behaviour among divers, and contribute to the removal of marine litter.

Teaching Philosophy

As an educator I prioritise mastery. I aim to equip my students with the ability integrating high-level skills, deep knowledge, and extensive experience to maintain composure and stability during core tasks, even in adverse conditions.

 

Human factors (such as decision making biases, stress-induced errors, fatigue, and poor resource management) can erode this foundation, amplifying the gap between perceived risk and real risk.

 

True mastery aligns these risks through rigorous self-awareness and mitigation of human limitations, ensuring sound judgment prevails over ego or emotion. This is vital for avoiding the incident pit, where unchecked minor issues, compounded by human factors like fixation or denial, cascade into an unrecoverable crisis that experienced divers arrest through practiced resilience and team dynamics.

  • Co-authored one PADI recreational and two technical distinctive specialty courses.
  • Part of the team to that discovered and first dive 3 new technical dive sites in the Koh Samaesan district – Thailand. 
  • Achieved PADI Eco Centre status for Cyprus Diving Adventures (second shop in the nation)
  • PADI Silver Elite Instructor 2024-2025
